World Water Day has Sydney school kids building emergency water filters for refugee camps. The students at McAuley primary school in Sydney will focus their attention on solutions to global water issues for World Water Day this 22 March 2022. The year 5 and 6 students will learn about the humanitarian issues impacting millions of refugees in the world right now - like water accessibility and sanitation – and how to use science to develop tangible solutions.

McAuley Catholic Primary School Rose Bay students wrote positive messages to accompany their emergency water filters for refugees in Uganda.
